Ink drawings is the most satisfying technique—once you gain even a little control over it. Of all the mediums I practice, it’s the most demanding and the one that pushes me the hardest. But it also offers the greatest reward when something you’ve done truly pleases you.
It holds many small secrets—and just as many little traps.
I’ll reveal one of those secrets here: pay close attention to the paper you use. Don’t try to save on paper. Ink will give back whatever you’ve invested in it.
